Founded in 1930 our aims are:

bullet To be the leading occupational pensioner organisation in the UK.
   
bullet To protect and promote pension rights; strive to enhance the welfare and well being of its members and work with other organisations for the mutual benefit of all.
   
bullet To aid by all appropriate means the solution of problems faced by members and their dependents.
   
bullet To provide local activities, a forum for discussion on pensioner issues and opportunities for communication between members.
   
bullet To support its Charity, The National Federation of Royal Mail & BT Pensioners Welfare Fund, to give assistance to Royal Mail & BT Pensioners and their dependents who are in need and to members of UNITE.
   
UNITE is about campaigning to improve the lives of our members through improved pensions, health services and transport amongst other things.
